I'm sorry to say that my last interaction with Larry's mower didn't go well. I had recently purchased three spindles and installed them without a problem; however, my lawn mower continues to act up. It keeps stalling out unless I hold down the brake pedal. I called Larry's back to ask for advice and I was told to remove the fuel lines from the gas tank and look for debris that may be clogging the line. I did what they suggested and I broke a grummet, so I called them back to order one and to ask for more advice. Here's where things went bad. The lady I talked with tried to convince me to that I needed to replace the carburetor, which I just removed and thoroughly cleaned with a tiny brush and special cleaner. The tractor ran great, expect it stalls out from time to time unless I depress the brake pedal. I then asked if there were other potential causes other than the carburetor (eg, fuel pump, brake switch, etc.) and the lady got annoyed and abruptly handed me off to another person. I heard her talking in the background to someone who said she should have hung up the phone on me because I wasn't taking her advice and buying a new $200 carburetor. I thought that's a bit harsh. I never meant to upset her in any way. She thought since she was woman, I wasn't interested in what she was saying. In fact, she was not listening to what I was saying. I feel my problem is somehow tied to the brake pedal, which has a switch under the pedal but she would not let me explain myself. Anyway, I proceeded to ask for a grummet for the fuel line, but I was told they are not Craftsman dealers and referred me to another repair shop. What gives? I had just ordered three spindles from them, but suddenly they are no longer interested in helping locate a $3.00 grummet.
